Education
Laura Zarina is not only an internationally performing violinist but also a passionate educator with a holistic approach. After completing her Master’s degree in Instrumental Pedagogy at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMdK), she held teaching positions at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK), Dr. Hoch’s Conservatory in Frankfurt and Peter Cornelius Conservatory in Mainz.
Her educational work is driven by a desire to support young musicians not only in their technical and artistic development but also in their personal growth and professional orientation. In her courses and coaching sessions, she provides tools for confident stage presence, mental resilience, and strategic career planning-areas often overlooked in traditional music training.
In 2024, she co-founded the Instrumentum Foundation with her husband Christian Reister. The foundation supports gifted string players by providing access to high-quality instruments - furthering her commitment to empowering the next generation of musicians.
